Brief Profile
Department of Chemistry was established in 1961. It offers both undergraduate and post graduate programmes of studies, while undertaking active research in areas including Green Chemistry, soil/water chemistry and others. Covid-19 has spurred the college, led by Chemistry department, to mass-produce hand sanitizer for the state. This activity has been converted to a permanent "Earn While You Learn Scheme" for students.
